Our Mission Statement
High Voltage Sports Betting is developed and run by hard core sports fans dedicated to bringing our clients high-success rate betting picks for NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL games with an emphasis on thorough team/player analysis and breakdowns to aid the bettor in making informed decisions on the picks they would like to acquire.
High Voltage Sports was started out of our pure love and passion for all things sports related but overtime we decided to take our knowledge of sports and the many different aspects of sports betting that we posses and turn it into a business to not only benefit ourselves but benefit others who may be looking to break into sports betting for the first time or who have been doing it for years and are looking for a new and fresh perspective.
Our goal is to not only make our bettors money but to entertain and inform them with our various takes and perspectives on breaking news for various teams and players in professional sports and have a lot of fun doing it. We want our clients and viewers to know that we are one of you. We’re fans, first and foremost, and we want every sports fan that comes to High Voltage Sports to know that we pride ourselves not only on our sports acumen but our love of interacting and engaging with fellow enthusiasts across the four major American sports leagues nationwide. Meet Steve Cravens
Steve “Steve-O” Cravens was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A die hard sports fan, Steve’s introduction to the wide world of sports began as a kid during the summer of 1997 when he watched the legendary Pat Riley coach the Alonzo Mourning/Tim Hardaway Miami Heat all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals against Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls where they ultimately lost in five games. From that summer on the fire not only for the Heat and basketball began but his passion for all things sports started to take a firm hold on him and there was no looking back.
Steve moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating from Columbia College Chicago and began work on various game and competition shows before being hired as a Fox Sports NFL logger/researcher shortly before the 2017 NFL season. Steve left Fox Sports in 2020 to launch High Voltage Sports.
Steve began sports betting as a hobby on the side in the summer of 2014 during the NBA playoffs and the following September he began betting on NFL games to make extra money while cutting his teeth on the LA television production circuit. He’s not only a lover of all things sports but also a massive movie fanatic with his top five favorite movies of all time being: Jaws, Apocalypse Now, Raiders of the Lost Ark, There Will Be Blood and Blade Runner.
He spends his time primarily in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and back in South Florida with his wife.
